Photographic Exhibitions

Bridging the gap: African Life in Australia photographic exhibition held at the Robina Community Centre Art Gallery in June 2009. Works by Fiona Harding and Tewodros Fekadu depicting traditional and modern aspects of African Culture. Photographs include social traditions, landscapes, religious and cultural images.


It was hoped that by sharing these images we can promote greater understanding, tolerance and harmony in the local Gold Coast community.

Councilor Bob La Castra opened the show which then was followed by Australian and African poets, African drummers and a traditional Ethipoean coffee ceremony performed to a full house.
