This feature article was published in the Townsville Bulletin. The world-renowned Hinchinbrook Island is found north of Townsville. The hike is highly recommended, and is finally open again after the North Queensland Coat between Townsville and Cairns was destroyed by cyclone Yasi earlier 2011. It is one of the top 10 hikes to do in the world, and a definitely a bucket list must do.
